It's official: Chun-Li is returning in a brand-new Street Fighter release in 2027. Any new release in the Street Fighter franchise is a rare occasion, so it's great to see that fans have at least one thing to look forward to.
Chun-Li is among the most iconic Street Fighter characters of all time. Ever since her debut in 1991's Street Fighter 2, she has been immensely popular with fans and has appeared in all subsequent mainline titles. She is widely cited as being the first playable female character in a fighting game, making her a trailblazer in that respect and contributing to her popularity.
Prime 1 Studio has officially opened pre-orders on its brand-new Street Fighter Chun-Li 1/4 scale statue, with the Ultimate Bonus version priced at a whopping $2,105 on Sideshow. The figure, part of Prime 1 Studio's Premium Masterline, is based on her appearance in Street Fighter 6 and features stunning details, plus a unique themed display base. With a height of 23.22 inches and a weight of 17.19 lbs, it's a hefty collector's item. There are tons of small details that make this new Street Fighter release such an impressive piece. For example, the display base has a small LED lighting strip for that finishing touch.
Understandably, the Ultimate Bonus version of the statue will be too expensive for many fans, despite its obvious quality. Prime 1 Studio's Street Fighter Chun-Li statue is also available in Standard and Ultimate versions, priced at $1,105 and $1,605, respectively. The Standard version includes only the statue and LED display base, while the Ultimate version adds swappable lower bodies, swappable heads, and an effect wall. The only extra part in the Ultimate Bonus version is the Chun-Li graffiti logo stand, so it ultimately comes down to what the individual thinks is worth the extra cash.
