Following the 2026 Tokyo Game Show, Atlus shared a new Persona 4 Revival Broadcast episode that covered characters like Tohru Adachi and Aika Nakamura and confirmed the release of a soundtrack CD. The former offered quite a bit of insight into what to expect from returning and new characters. The latter announcement only noted a physical release is planned for the album for Japan on February 18, 2027. A US and worldwide release isn’t confirmed for that soundtrack yet, but the original game’s did appear everywhere.
The Persona 4 Revival Broadcast Episode 2 covered the new character Aika and returning ones like Adachi after going over some we’ve already seen appear in dedicated trailers. It started with reintroducing Rise Kujikawa, Kanji Tatsumi, Naoto Shirogane, and Teddie again. We saw the Send Flying, Baton Pass, Blunder Cover, Prime Time, and Series Finale in-battle moves with allies too. After that, the focus turned to the supporting cast. First, Nanako and Ryotaro Dojima came up, given they’re protagonist Yu Narukami’s family. Then, we saw Adachi, Dojima’s partner and fellow detective, come up. Aika, as a newcomer who is a classmate and works at her family’s restaurant Aiya. She’s a new Social Link, though we don’t know which tarot card she’s tied to yet.
We’re still waiting to see if there end up being dedicated character trailers for additional cast members now that the one for Naoto appeared. It’s unknown if that could happen for major members like Marie.
As for the Persona 4 Revival Original Soundtrack, it will be a four-CD album. That will cost 5,500 yen (~$35). A 52-page booklet also comes with it and features insight about the music. People who buy it through Amazon Japan or the official Atlus storefront in Japan will also get a set of three pins as a bonus while supplies last.
Persona 4 Revival and the official Original Soundtrack CD will launch on February 18, 2027. That’s when it will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. A Switch 2 release will follow on May 20, 2027. The original game appeared on the PS2, and the Golden version showed up on the Switch, PS4, Vita, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
