The Warble of a Smitten Knight is a side quest in Toussaint for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine that you can start after "The Beast of Toussaint", and it will see Geralt help Guillaume, a smitten knight, improve his relations with Vivienne. Geralt must enter the tournament, where he can also prove his honor and valor for the "There Can Be Only One" side quest for the Aerondight sword!
You must complete this side quest before meeting Captain de la Tour in "Capture the Castle", the 8th main quest in Blood and Wine.
After completing "The Beast of Toussaint", head east of the Tourney Grounds to find the medical tent, where you can meet up with Guillaume. Here, you can agree to help (and barter for a higher reward if you want). Guillaume will ask you to practice your shooting, racing, and sword fighting, or you can just tell him you don't need any practice to begin the quest.
You can skip the practice, as there are no rewards to earn. However, I recommend at least asking "Horsemanship?", because it's a time trial where you must follow the track and shoot targets to extend your time.
After your practice, head to the enlisting tent and speak with the Scribe. He will ask if you want to enter the tourney as Geralt of Rivia or Sir Ravix of Fourhorn. To prove your honor as part of the "There Can Be Only One" side quest, you should select: Wanna join as Geralt of Rivia. This will also change the reward you get for completing the quest, as you'll get the Geralt set instead of the Ravix set.
Geralt will then be asked to take a vow, but the vow you make doesn't matter. I decided on "I'll swear on my lady's love", as Geralt will make a vow to Yennefer (or Triss if you picked her).
When you arrive at the Shooting Range, Palmerin de Launfal will offer to swap places with you, as Geralt's tourney is set when the sun will be in his eyes. However, this is a bluff and has no impact on a witcher. Regardless, you can beat him at Gwent to trade places, but your opponent remains the same.
To win the Shooting Range, shoot the red targets before your opponent shoots the blue targets. This will reward you with 100 XP and a new crossbow. You will want to win this tournament for the quest, so restart if you fail!
