Wardogs features two progression paths: one is your overall level, which unlocks access to certain weapons, attachments, ammo types, and vehicles. The other path is divided into multiple classes. Each class comes with its own progression route, offering a variety of items as a reward. Leveling up each class is tied to certain actions, and it's important to know what those actions are.
Assault, Medic, Support, Recon, Driver, and Pilot are the six classes with six different progression routes. Aside from Assault and Recon classes that come with the fewest tricks to speed up progression, the other four classes feature some neat ways to quickly level up. Some don't even require much fighting!
The easiest way to earn overall XP is to wait for the APC personnel carrier vehicle to spawn, then drive it to a safe place inside the Control Zone, and park it. From now on, every player that spawns via the APC will grant you some XP. This will continue as long as you are alive, or the APC has not been destroyed.
That's why it's best to put the APC at a well-fortified base of yours. I strongly suggest that you park it under your tower, so the mortars or choppers cannot destroy it either.
You get $3,000 and 500 XP just for entering the Control Zone with the vehicle. And that's just the beginning. As soon as you park the APC, other players will start to spawn. Keep in mind that players cannot spawn as long as the vehicle is moving.
For every player spawned on the APC, you will get 25 XP. If they get a kill, you get an extra 25 XP and $375 as an assist. And if they survive, you get 75 XP and $250 again. You can imagine how quickly this is going to level you up and make you rich if you stay alive for as long as possible. It's worth noting that all these XPs are Driver XP. So, not only do you increase your overall level, but you also dramatically contribute towards your Driver class level.
Usually, the fight between teammates to get behind the wheel of the APC is really tight. When the match begins, try to check the APC's spawn time through the respawn terminal at the HQ, and make sure to return to the same place at the same time. The APC spawns near the garage, and it is marked by a big satellite icon on the map.
Aside from the APC method mentioned earlier, which remains the best option for getting Driver XP, you can also simply work as a taxi driver between the HQ and the Control Zone. Just pick up players at the HQ and drop them off inside the Control Zone.
