We've already been rounding up all the announcements at Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 event from earlier today, and you may have noticed that quite a lot of Xbox Game Pass titles were featured as part of the broadcast.
In fact, two of the games in the show had never been announced for Xbox Game Pass until today in the form of Hope in the City and Shape of Dreams, the latter of which has literally just launched on Xbox Series X and S!
Shape of Dreams is an action roguelite co-op game that has a "Very Positive" rating on PC, and its shadow drop on Xbox Game Pass today is a great surprise. Hope in the City, meanwhile, will be a "day one" launch when it arrives for Xbox on November 10th, and serves as a narrative mystery game where you play as a 17-year-old girl trying to discover why her parents have disappeared and why the city is so calm.
As mentioned, there were other Xbox Game Pass titles in the Tokyo Game Show broadcast as well, but they'd all been announced for Game Pass before today. These were Persona 4 Revival, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, Raji: Kalyuga and Fallout 76: The Slasher, and you can go and check out their trailers in our big roundup if you're interested. Once Human: Isles of Abyss was listed as Game Pass as well, but it's actually a free-to-play game with XGP benefits.
