What Is Jae's Best Build In Star Wars Zero Company

There are a lot of operators you can pick from in Star Wars Zero Company. From the lightsaber-wielding Tel-Rea to the bounty hunter Cly, you can find a character for basically any playstyle. One of the oddest is Jae Mordant, who has a bit of an odd selection of abilities that take a bit of work to make effective in battle.

Unlocked early on, Jae is a noble who specializes in executing enemies who have low health and applying status effects to enemies in mass. If you're looking to make the most of Jea's kit, here is what you should be focusing on in the early, mid, and late game to maximize her efficiency during missions.

When it comes to the early game (and truthfully the entire story), you will want to use Jae as a backline damage dealer. This is because, outside of her unique Talent Ability, you can fully customize both her first and second Specialization. While this opens up a myriad of build possibilities, I had the most success using her as a high-damage, long-range fighter who leans on using her Final Shot talent to clean up any enemies in front of her.

To start, I recommend picking the Sharpshooter Specialization, as this will give her skills that increase her Overwatch damage, chance-to-hit, and improve her critical chance. Passives like Pick Them Off work wonders with Final Shot, as she can weaken an enemy whenever her Overwatch triggers and then instantly execute them if their health is low. It's a brutally efficient combo that pairs nicely with the longarm blaster rifle we will give her.

Zero In is also incredibly strong, since it boosts her critical chance and chance-to-hit, allowing you to take down pesky enemies that are either too far for your other operators or staying behind cover. Precision Shot is okay, but I wouldn't rely on this skill compared to the others. It can be useful in some scenarios, but we largely want to focus on increasing Jae's other abilities that fit better in her long-distance role.

Of course, the ability you should absolutely max out is Final Shot, since it allows Jae to instantly kill any enemy within her range once they have a specific amount of health remaining. If used correctly, this is a devastating move that will obliterate foes and make some of the tougher missions a bit easier.

As far as using Jae in missions, just focus on using her as your backline damage dealer that assists in executing weaker enemies while focusing her actual attacks on key enemies such as Commando Droid Snipers or Seers. She is great for dealing with problematic targets and setting up Overwatch's for the rest of your team. Make sure to always put her on high ground so she can cover as much of the battle as possible to get the most out of her Final Shot talent.

Once you unlock her second Specialization, you can take Jae in a few different directions, and none of them are bad. I've seen people use her as a Medic since she is always in the backline, while others lean into improving her critical hit damage. For me though, I really liked using the Scoundrel on Jae.
