The Deep North update for Valheim added three endgame armor sets that can only be obtained in the eponymous arctic biome. These offer the highest armor values out of all sets in the game, but getting them is going to be quite a chore. Not only will you need to gather crafting materials, but you'll also need to find special moulds that have a miniscule chance of dropping from certain enemy types. Crafting Deep North armor in Valheim will take a very long while, and if you want to try getting them, here's what you need to do.
To make these buildings, you need to find 20 Frost Cores (10 for each) by finding Winding Tunnels dungeons across the Deep North biome. The entrances to these dungeons are found inside the town hall buildings in abandoned villages. Find the biggest building in the village, then look for a huge hole in the ground. Frost Cores are usually found at the end of each tunnel. Then, build a Frigid Kiln and a Frost Foundry.
You'll also need a lot of Ice in order to make the Liquid Frost needed to fuel Frost Foundries.
This is arguably the most frustrating part of crafting the Deep North armor sets. You need to get the correct armor mould for the piece you want to craft, and you can very rarely pick them up as drops from the Krigen and Hexen enemies inside Mörkhalla, another dungeon exclusive to the Deep North biome.
Mörkhalla can be entered via Gates of Mörkhalla, which are found in big stone towers scattered across the Deep North. However, before you go looking for these, make sure you've crafted an Intricate Key first. You can find Intricate Key moulds randomly while breaking stuff inside Winding Tunnels dungeons.
When you reach Mörkhalla, fight and beat every enemy you see until you reach the bottom. If you didn't get the mould for the armor piece you want to craft, break the crystal in the middle of the bottom floor. This will cause a Jotun Invasion to appear somewhere in your world — invasion events are full of Krigens and Hexens, and you should be able to get a mould by slaying enemies there.
Krigens drop Vanguard set (medium armor) pieces, while Hexens drop Caller set (mage armor) pieces. As of writing, moulds for the heavy Protector armor set don't seem to drop anywhere, though helmets can be occasionally found in villages.
Once you've found the armor moulds, you'll then need to gather the rest of the materials needed to craft casts for your Deep North armor pieces. You'll need the following resources (in total):
