‘Immersive spatial puzzle action game’ HEIMA announced for PC

Co-developers Amber Games and Kenei Design have announced HEIMA, an “immersive spatial puzzle action game” about a boy searching for his missing brother across parallels worlds. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2028.

HEIMA was selected for the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan, Project to Support Emerging Media Arts Creators 2025.

The game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026, which will run from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

Here is an overview of the game, via Amber Games:

The word “HEIMA” means “home” or “homeland” in Icelandic.

From his home, a boy steps into parallel worlds on an unforgettable journey.

He follows his brother into a world that should not exist.

Humanity has long dreamed of making instantaneous travel between distant locations possible. Eventually, teleportation technology becomes a reality. One day, however, the transportation network becomes connected to a parallel world that should never have existed.
