Faith is arguably one of the most important resources you'll be able to collect in Graveyard Keeper 2. While not a new addition to the series, it can be seen early on, used for vital things like fast travel and unlocking Inspirations.
It can feel unbelievably annoying in the early hours of the game, because you can see how many things need Faith, but you have no idea how to get them. You unlock it by progressing the story enough for the Nun to show up, but there's a little more to it than that.
This guide will cover how to open the church and how to get Faith quickly. Once you can start making a good amount every week, you'll be much more prepared for what the future holds in this cozy RPG.
Opening up the church in your graveyard may seem like it requires a lot of work, and to a certain extent, you'd be right. You'll need to progress along Jack's (the mechanic) storyline until you can send him down the river.
Once you give him enough supplies to fix up a boat and get him some help rowing, Jack will head off and send you a lovely note explaining that he isn't returning on the boat. Instead, he'll be sending the Nun back on the boat to help you out in her own special way.
She'll manage to make her way to your graveyard and open the doors herself before throwing all the fixing on you. Getting everything cleaned up is a bit of a chore, but once you do that, you can start building out some benches and such to raise your Church Rating level.
It's a good idea to build lots of benches to start, so you can raise the Church Rating level nice and high before performing a sermon.
If you've played the original Graveyard Keeper with the DLC, you've probably got a good idea of how this all works, but we'll break it down just to make sure. Gaining Faith revolves around performing sermons on a specific day: Wrath.
