The Nintendo Switch 2 is home to all kinds of fantastic co-op games, including some that are exclusive to the platform. For the uninitiated, Valheim is an open world co-op survival game for up to 10 players that takes place in a world inspired by Norse mythology. The visuals are like a modern take on PS1-era graphics, and the massive game features a variety of biomes to explore full of unique creatures to fight and secrets to uncover.
As is typical of survival games, Valheim players can do basically whatever they want in the game. There is a main quest with difficult bosses to fight if you want, but players have the option to ignore that aspect of the game entirely and simply focus on finding food, collecting resources, and building bases. Valheim has been playable on other platforms in early access for years, but it will be making its Switch 2 debut when the 1.0 version of the game releases on September 9.
