This wasn't a surprise blowout like Summer Game Fest's reveal, but it's still another peek at the anticipated RPG in action.
This latest trailer locks right in on the Weapons — the giant creatures tasked with protecting the planet. They go on a rampage when Sephiroth's plan to drop a world-ending meteor becomes a reality.
For what it's worth, they look great, and the footage hints at massive battles, including what seems to be some kind of airship combat.
Revelation is still targeting a 'Spring 2027' release window on PS5. There were whispers that we might get a confirmed date tonight, but that seemed a touch unrealistic. The Game Awards in December feels like the one.
