If you play the Career mode with the Authentic gameplay in its raw form without any changes to the sliders, you might get bored of the slow-paced gameplay. If you want FC 27 to feel like previous entries with more energy, then you can follow the slider settings I've attached below, which add more pace (and spice) without it being on the Competitive level.
The players still have weight, the movements are slower than in competitive mode, and the dribbling isn't overpowered. However, the gameplay flow feels smoother, and it does gain speed when it should.
After creating your manager career and getting to the hub screen, switch to the Customize tab and select Settings. The Match settings are all personal preference. I play at the Legendary difficulty level, and I can guarantee that you will get a fair challenge with the slider settings below, but you can set the difficulty level to anything you want.
The main part is the Game Type Settings. So, switch to this tab and set the slider values similar to the following:
We don't want to make the game super speedy like the competitive version, but we also don't want it to take ages when a player decides to run. The Sprint Speed of 45 may not seem like a big change, but every single unit in these sliders actually has a sensible impact on the game. 45 will feel significantly slower than 50.
Speaking of shooting, every error value is higher than 50. Making the shooting error below 50 will guarantee that almost every shot turns into a goal, especially when the CPU attempts it. We don't want all 1v1 situations to result in a goal. Many players miss great scoring chances in real football, and increasing the error value for the shots will guarantee it will happen here as well.
For Regular Shots, the error value is just slightly over 50. This number will already show itself in the gameplay. Regular Shots are the most common type of shots in the game, and we don't want to excessively miss those. Remember, error value contributes to shooting off-target. And when it's on-target, there is still a goalkeeper to prevent a goal.
Now, the reason why the error value is higher for CPU than for the User in every shot type is that we should take human error into account as well. When you are shooting, you might recklessly aim the ball, you may have stick drift, or you may not even add enough power to your shot. These things won't happen to the CPU, and that's why we set the CPU values for error a little higher than the User.
