Here’s what you will have to do in the ongoing Hollywood Hustler challenge:
One important thing you should know before starting the Hollywood Hustler Challenge is that F2P players can't complete it. You'll need both the Hustler Job Pack and the Actor Job Pack to finish the required tasks, since panhandling and becoming an actor are locked behind these packs. If you own Boss Mode, though, you won't have to buy either pack separately.
The first thing you need to do is make sure your character is born in California. Start a new life and choose the United States as the country, then pick any city in California as your birthplace. Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose, and San Francisco all work for this challenge. Your character's gender doesn't matter, so you can choose whichever you prefer.
While you're aging up, don't forget about acting lessons. You will need a decent Acting skill for one of the later tasks, and it's much easier to work on it while you are still a kid. Go to Activities > Mind & Body > Acting Lessons and take the lessons whenever you can. They cost money, but your parents will cover the cost while you are under 18.
The next task is where the street hustling starts. You will need to go to Special Careers and select Street Hustler. If you have the Hustler Job Pack, you'll be able to choose it and then choose a street to work on. After that, you need to select Panhandler as your hustle.
When choosing a street, you will see a few different stats for it, including Traffic, Crime, and Police. A street with high traffic can help you make more money since there are more people around, but you don't really need to worry about that for this challenge. You are not required to make a certain amount of money. You simply need to keep panhandling for at least five years.
