North American GTA 6 fans face one of the longest waits to enter Vice City after PlayStation Store listings revealed a staggered worldwide rollout.
GTA 6 is finally set to launch on November 19, 2026, but the digital PS5 version will not unlock simultaneously around the world.
According to regional listings compiled by GTAVice.net, the game will roll out across 15 release windows spanning 19 hours, with New Zealand getting access first.
New Zealand players can begin playing at midnight NZDT, or 11am UTC on November 18. Australia follows two hours later before the rollout moves across Asia, Europe and South America.
Players in the US and Canada will not get access until 5am UTC on November 19, 18 hours after New Zealand. Mexico and several Central American countries will follow at 6am UTC in the final confirmed window.
The US and Canadian PlayStation Stores appear to have a single nationwide unlock time. That means GTA 6 will become playable at midnight Eastern, 11pm Central, 10pm Mountain and 9pm Pacific.
Although West Coast players will technically gain access on November 18, they will still be starting nearly a full day after fans in New Zealand.
“Not having a simultaneous release in the big year of 2026 sucks,” YouTuber LegacyKillaHD said.
