There's a secret symbols puzzle in the Haldane Hotel in the Shorefront District - South, which is only made available in Part 2: Zoe when you're playing as Simon, and only in New Game Plus. You can only find these door symbols when you're in Shorefront - Different, which is after you pick up Richard's Gift!
To begin, make sure you pick up Richard's Gift from the Town Square to enter Shorefront - Different. Now, head to the Haldane Hotel, as marked on the map above. Head upstairs, and you will find a door with 25 unique symbols. You must press the symbols in the order shown below:
If done exactly as we've shown above (including the repeats of bird and Sputnik), then the door will open. On the bedside table, you will find the Strange Access Card. The Strange Access Card is used to unlock the Sci-Fi ending much later in the game, but you will need to find and interact with three Strange Books throughout.
