Maintaining and improving your graveyard is naturally one of the main objectives in Graveyard Keeper 2, and players will often have to reach new ratings, such as 10 Wreaths, to advance the story or complete certain quests. The main ways to improve your Graveyard Quality in Graveyard Keeper 2 are burying the purest, most holy corpses, decorating individual graves, and lastly decorating the rest of the graveyard. Each of these steps will be explained below, as well as some extra tips.
It's not only what's above ground that counts, but also who is buried 6 feet under in Graveyard Keeper 2. Each corpse has a rating system comprised of White Skulls and Red Skulls. The White Skulls represent the corpse's potential, so the more, the better, but Red Skulls subtract from this score.
With this in mind, you want to try only burying corpses with a high number of White Skulls. As for the Red Skulls and 'bad corpses' in Graveyard Keeper 2, you can try removing certain body parts or fat and blood to get rid of the negative effects. This is done in the morgue.
For corpses that you don't want to bury, you can harvest all their organs or dump the body in the river by carrying it there.
Later on, players will also be able to embalm corpses with extra White Skulls, using an Embalming Table in the Morgue and a substance they have created with alchemy in the lab.

To do so, you will need to buy an Exhumation Certificate from the tavern keeper. You can then walk up to a grave, remove the grave's fence and gravestone, and excavate the body.
The easiest way to increase the Graveyard's Quality is to make sure all graves are adorned with a gravestone and grave fence. These have a Wreath rating, and as long as you have enough White Skulls and fewer Red Skulls to cancel them out, individual graves can have high ratings with the right decor.
