12 Beginner Tips For Every Path — Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave

12 Beginner Tips For Every Path — Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave gives you four Part 1 paths, large casts to train and a wide range of systems competing for your free time. The good news is that progress on one path can make the others much faster, while characters recruited more than once can eventually combine what they learned across different routes.

These 12 beginner tips will help you spend your time efficiently, develop a useful army and make the most of each Flame Lord's unique abilities.

Completing Notable Deeds awards Karma Shards, which can be spent on Boons of Salvation at the Shrine of Causality. Unlike most route-specific progress, Boons apply across all four paths.

That makes them one of the best long-term investments available. A reward earned while playing one Flame Lord can make the next path easier, so check your Milestones regularly instead of treating them as optional achievements.

The most influential Boons are the large experience boosts. A first Part 1 path takes around 20 hours, but subsequent paths can move much faster once these bonuses are active.

If you intend to complete all four paths, prioritize universal progression bonuses early. They reduce the time spent catching up new armies and let later routes reach their more interesting classes and abilities sooner.

During the early hours of the game, you'll find that the License Vendor in Dagsion can be quite stingy, especially when you unlock a new tier of classes to experiment with. It's very easy to find yourself completely out of the items and with a large army you want to push into their new classes.

Licenses are also sold in other Settlements! Be sure to check their inventories on the world map by hitting the ZL button while hovering over them to be sure that it has what you're looking for, though.
