Coen must collect all hidden stashed to complete both Mysterious and Initial Instructions in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This is a hidden quest as nothing will trigger upon discovering the instructions.
To be able to get the stashes, you must find a green book called Searching for Manumit Caches. It's a random drop from one of the soldiers. In my playthrough, I got it from a guard in the city. All of the Manumit Caches are located in Svartrau City. The eight papers you need to find, in any order, are:
The Initial Instructions will appear in one of the available stashes randomly.
The Mysterious Instructions can be found in multiple places. For example, you can find it in one of the stashes, or on the northern side of Svartrau City (marked with the Curious House symbol). You may also find one east of Neustadt. From the Silberstein Shrine, go west until a ledge appears southwest where you can jump over it. Drop to the ground and search the stash to get the Mysterious Instruction.
Go southwest of Silberstein to find the next cache in a crate decorated with potted plants. You will get From Life of St. Benezet.
The From Life of St. Cuthbert is close to The Cathedral Complex entrance, next to a set of stairs. The cache is hidden under a rock where the rebel symbol is drawn on the wall.
While exploring the Altenmarkt, go south close to the Medic store to see the From Life of St. Tobias hidden in one of the wall tiles.
A random stash is found nearby under a rock on the stairs close to the Svartrau North East Shrine. It may contain some equipment, money, and a potion.
