The Blood of Dawnwalker, like most RPGs, gives players the freedom to decide their own ending to Coen's story. Choices you make throughout the game will shape which allies you have, whether you turn your back on your village, and what Vale Sangora's future looks like.
You can end the game as early as the prologue or spend the next 100 hours meticulously crafting the ending you want. It's all entirely up to you and the type of game you want to play. So, whether you're interested in experiencing every possible outcome in The Blood of Dawnwalker or will happily accept whatever your ending turns out to be, this guide will outline every possible ending in the game.
From the start of The Blood of Dawnwalker, it's clear that defeating Brencis will end the game. Coen's entire goal throughout the game is to disrupt Brencis' rule over Vale Sangora and potentially save his family. However, there are a few different ways you can go about this, and you can technically do it as early on in the game as you want.
If you want help defeating Brencis, however, and changing what becomes of Vale Sangora afterward, then you'll need to spend some time getting to know a few allies who may be able to help.
Though all of them will more or less play out the same way, with Brencis being defeated and Vale Sangora being freed from the Vrakhiri, this ending will vary slightly depending on when you complete it and which companion you complete it with.
Even if you complete Brencis' boss fight with an ally, you're mainly doing it for the story difference. The fight itself is the same in all of these endings. Additionally, the NPC is only present during the first phase, and doesn't help much. The second phase will always be just Coen.

If you decide to take on Brencis with Lacra, which will require you to complete her personal quests relating to Isbrand, you'll start by stopping his ritual and destroying the Vessel first. This will unfortunately wreak havoc throughout the castle, with corpses coming back to life and people inside losing their minds.
