How to Get a Mutant Injection on Haunted Hollow in COD Warzone (EMF Reader Ghost Easter Egg)

Haunted Hollow is here for Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 6: The Haunting update, and it's filled with Easter Eggs. While players may be grinding to unlock the Crimson Crawler Camo, they can also get a bunch of items from Zombies, like the Ray Gun. However, you may have also seen a Mangler walking about, and this is actually tied to the EMF Reader Easter Egg at the Research Center. Here is how to become a Mangler in Warzone.

Before you can even begin the Easter Egg, you will need to find the EMF Reader, which you may likely have already come across. The EMF Reader can be found in the server room of the building to the south-east of the Research Center, particularly on the bottom floor. Once you find it, grab it to secure it in your Tactical Slot and then head to the Research Center.

For the next step, you will need to find a weapon with a Thermal Optic. While you can create a loadout with one, there is actually a Voyak KT-3 in the Research Center with one already equipped. You can find this gun on the top floor towards the center of the south portion of the building, just by a whiteboard. Grab it, because you will need it for the next step.

Now that you have both items, you will need to use them to hunt down three spirits in the Research Center. To do this, first pull out your EMF Reader to find the location of the ghost. The EMF Reader will display a Low, Medium, or High reading depending on how close you are to the ghost. The aim is to get the reading to reach 9.99, which will indicate that you are in the room with the spirit.

Once you are near the ghost with the reading on High, the room will go black. From here, use your Thermal Optic to locate the ghost. It should take the form of a random object with a particle effect. Once you find it, shoot it to move the spirit to a new location. You will need to repeat this step a total of three times. However, you do have a limited time to do so. If you fail to find the ghost, you will receive a jump scare, and it will move to another location.

Successfully finding and shooting the spirit three times will drop a bunch of rewards, including a Mutant Injection. Using this item will turn you into a Mangler from Zombies for a short period of time, where you can use the Mangler Cannon, melee players with your sickle, or simply down them with your sprint attack.
