Eliminating targets in imaginative and specific ways is something players will find themselves doing quite often during Halloween: The Game's single-player experience. Throughout each chapter, there are several challenges, each of which requires a character to meet their grisly end under certain circumstances. During Chapter 3, you will have to crush Thomas with his own barbell for a free reward, with this guide showing you exactly how to do so, step by step.
There are three Special Targets in Chapter 3, all of which are marked on the map. However, the map does not reveal the names of these targets, making it hard to figure out which is which during your first playthrough. Thomas can be found in the garage towards the far north side of the map, right by the weight bench that you will need to use to kill him for the challenge. To get here fast, use your Shape Jump ability.
Before you can grab Thomas to perform the weight bench kill, you are going to need to stalk him. The weight bench requires you to get Thomas to a Stalk level of 3 before you can actually use it. If you do not spook him, Thomas will remain in the garage for most of the level, so try to remain unseen before you are ready to go in for the kill.
Upon heading to the location, keep your distance and use your Killer Sense ability to stalk Thomas. Watch out for Focus Points too, as they will allow you to raise his Stalk level much faster. Once you see a pop-up on your HUD letting you know you have reached Stalk Tier 3, that's when you should make your move.
From here, approach the garage, grab Thomas, and then drag him over to the weight bench. When nearby, you should see the option to use the barbell press. Holding the interact button at this point will trigger a Context Execution. Killing Thomas this way will wrap up Challenge 2 of Chapter 3, rewarding you with Thomas' third outfit, along with the Like Father, Like Son Player Title. If this is not your first playthrough, be sure to complete the rest of the chapter as usual to save your progress.
