Yes, you absolutely should catch every single Aniimo you come across. We have already talked about these things in our Beginner's Tips and Tricks, but in general, there's very little reason why you shouldn't catch an Aniimo, regardless of whether you have one or not.

You've probably noticed this, but when you capture an Aniimo, they can either be Common, Good, Elite or Perfect. They can also be Sparkling but that just makes them shinier and prettier. In general, you should only ever use Elite Aniimo (in battle) and only until you get your hands on Perfect ones.
Fighting other Aniimo and Twining with them while exploring aren't the only things these creatures are good at. For example: you'll need plenty of Aniimo to work on your Homeland (RV Farm), and these won't need to be the strongest or the fastest. Additionally, the game will have different events, such as the Egg Heist, where you may end up using completely different Aniimo.
You can access your Aniimo Storage wherever you are in the world and freely swap your Aniimo at almost any point. In total you have 600 spots available, so there's really no need to worry about overcrowding your storage spaces.
