Deck yourself out in the colors and brands of Vice City.
With Grand Theft Auto 6’s launch now under two months away, hype is building in numerous ways.
After a massive Vice City sign was spotted on top of an NBA arena in Miami earlier this week, now a new datamine from Rockstar Games’ website is teasing a slew of merchandise from the game for players to continue their grind outside of the game.
Spotted on GTAForums, the info comes from Xsolla, a digital payment system that has revealed a few dozen SKUs of merchandise set to be listed on the Rockstar site sometime in the future.
It’s got a lot of what you may expect, including several T-shirt designs and hats sporting GTA 6 logos and even logos from the game world, like Burger Shot. Some of the cooler ones include a GTA-themed Zippo lighter, a money clip, a tote bag, and a holographic sticker pack.
But one of the listings has some people thinking that it may be for a Collector’s Edition of the game. Titled “GTA VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection,” it has players talking about a potential big box edition for the game, but I’m a bit more skeptical of that. To me, the SKU sounds more like a collection of several of the listed merch items. But, hey, I live for the copium and hopium like everyone.
GTA 6 is a controversial title to many, considering that it’s digital only and won’t be released on disc, at least not yet. Some sort of Collector’s Edition including actual physical items may soften that blow, especially if it includes the game, but I’m not sure if this is what players are hoping for.
Either way, I’d expect a slew of actual, legitimate GTA 6 news to trickle out over the next few weeks, especially through October and the beginning of November before the game finally releases on Nov. 19.
