Yesterday the beta gates flung open for Xbox players to have their first crack at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and from what we can tell, it seems to have made quite the first impression over the past 24 hours.
We've managed to play quite a few multiplayer matches and try out the campaign mission, and visually, this year's COD is a bit of a looker. Of course, Modern Warfare 4 is still in beta, which means performance is subject to change before its full release on October 23, 2026, but so far we're impressed, specifically by the lighting.
