Monster Hunter Wilds is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, it has just been revealed during the Nintendo Direct.
The game, with all its free DLC updates (including new monsters), will be included in this console port. Nintendo fans will be able to pick it up starting the 5th December.
This version of the game is also coming with local co-op support, much like the older games in the series did, so you can venture out to your friends' house in real life and get a hunting party going.
In addition, the Nintendo Direct trailer reminded viewers that Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascension is on the way. This, the first major expansion to Wilds, is bringing a new hunting region, new story quests, and of course new monsters.
If you've never played Monster Hunter Wilds, Eurogamer's review from last year found it was "The most exhilarating and refined Monster Hunter yet". Since then, the game has only received more updates and improvements, so this Switch 2 might be a good chance to hop in.
