As you go through Michael Myers' journey of becoming who he is after his sanatorium escape in Halloween: The Game, make sure you keep an eye out for the collectibles too. There are two more Loomis Logs in Chapter 1 that you can pick up and add to the collection. Chapter 1 is bigger than it initially looks while following the tutorial instructions. Here are the areas you'll want to explore to gather them all.
The level starts outside a bar where Michael begins taking on a group of bikers outside and inside. After almost all the bikers are gone, there's a cutscene where one exits the restroom and sees all the carnage Michael caused. When he runs, you get a prompt to chase down the final biker.
Before you leave the bar, go to the hall where the restrooms are and enter the room on the left side of the hall. There is a resident here that you can take out. On the vanity is a collectible, indicated by a small circle on the countertop. Select Retrieve Collectible and pick it up. Now you can continue chasing the biker.
Once you're outside, you'll have another cut scene watching the biker run from you, then a mechanic. Before you go after the mechanic, you can explore the town for other things. On the other side of the auto shop is a gas station.
Inside the gas station, you'll find an office with a collectible on the desk. Add it to the collection by picking it up.
These collectibles are recordings. After the level, you can look into these recordings by going to the Graveyard menu on the main menu. Scroll down to the tape on the left to see what you've gathered and get more information on the collectibles you have.
