Remedy Entertainment made a splash with CONTROL Resonant, which showcases some of the studio’s finest work. But that’s far from being the developer’s only hit: it garnered a peerless reputation for delivering incredible games, though it does have the occasional miss.

For the most part, the studio seems to top itself every few major releases, and outside of CONTROL it has famous franchises such as Max Payne and Alan Wake under its belt. In many ways, Remedy’s best game is always the next one.

We’ve listed all of Remedy’s games below and where you can find them, whether you’d like to support the devs or just experience more of its excellent portfolio. The list is ordered by most recent to oldest, and asterisks indicate platforms that were added after release.

The next item announced on Remedy’s list is the remaster of the first two Max Payne titles. They were tremendously big in the good old days of the PS2, and given what the developer has done with CONTROL Resonant, these are bound to be as amazing as their original iterations.

CONTROL Resonant is the high-octane sequel to 2019’s CONTROL, continuing the story from protagonist Dylan Faden’s perspective and advancing the narrative involving the Faden siblings and the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). We called it “mind-bendingly magnificent” in our review, and it’s more than earned a nine out of 10 from us.

This three-player coop FPS set in the CONTROL universe failed to find a large audience. Destructoid’s own Scott Duwe called Firebreak‘s gameplay “pretty unremarkable” in our review, adding that its biggest weakness “may be in its lack of variety.”

The game had a permanent price markdown to $19.99 with its final update in 2026, lowering the barrier to entry considerably. If you’re itching for more CONTROL, this might be worth picking up, especially on sale.

A sequel 13 years in the making, Alan Wake 2 expands the Remedyverse and picks the story of Alan Wake back up. It’s not like I, a writer, spent over a decade waiting for the amazing sequel to a game about a writer. But hey, at least they made CONTROL in the meantime.
