Home Sweet Home is one of Blood of Dawnwalker's more interesting of quests. After exploring a lone tower in the woods, Coen finds himself trapped in a repeating illusion of a not-so-peaceful time. To break out of this time loop, players will need to figure out what's going on and find some way to dispel the magic, or else they'll be stuck there forever. In this Blood of Dawnwalker guide, we'll be going over how to complete the Home Sweet Home quest as well as some other things you might want to know about it.
Go to the Silts Tower at the southwestern edge of the map at night. Climb the tower, beat the soldiers and miniboss inside, then enter the room at the very top.
Take note that the southwestern region of Vale Sangora is a high-level one, so make sure to come prepared. I completed Home Sweet Home on my first playthrough at Level 22 on Fair difficulty, and even at that level, enemies still had orange skulls next to them.
To get out of the dream sequence, you need to first complete a loop by reaching the church with your family, then interacting with the bloody well in the village before you go to confront the boss at the end.
After you enter the top of the Silts Tower, you'll suddenly find yourself back at Coen's house in Laslea with his family. Everything seems fine and dandy up until a winged monster barges in from the roof and kidnaps Pieter.
From here, the quest boils down into two combat encounters with a bunch of aetheric monsters and a boss fight against the big winged beast. Enemies during the dream sequence are scaled down to your level, but you won't get any of the benefits of your equipped items. You'll be stuck with a simple set of clothes and Coen's old sword.
Beat all the enemies, then after you loop back to the start, fight the monsters again. Before you go to challenge the winged boss, inspect the bloody well that's covered in snow. A voice will beckon you towards it.
The rest of the Home Sweet Home quest is a linear sequence involving a lot of exposition that dives into the history of Coen's family. I won't spoil anything here, but after you interact with the well, it's all just one straight shot from one objective marker to the other. Go where the game tells you, and you'll reach the end of the quest.
