On September 13, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Double Issue #42-43, Eiichiro Oda released One Piece chapter #1193, which expanded upon many exciting elements of the Elbaf arc for us. As Luffy continued his fight in the Underworld against Nerona Imu and the Wings took on the Holy Knights, Eiichiro Oda also wove in exciting lore reveals through the character of Biblo.
It was officially confirmed in One Piece Chapter 1193 that Biblo holds a direct connection to the likes of Nika, as well as the Demon God of the One Piece world. Most importantly, this chapter introduces us to a legend from an era 3,000 years ago in the world of One Piece. This legend is none other than Biblo's own grandfather, who remains unknown at this point in time.
The owl named Biblo was first introduced to us in One Piece chapter 1134, which was released officially on December 23, 2024, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Double Issue #4-5. Biblo was revealed to be an owl who watches over the Owl's Library in Elbaf. According to Saul, Biblo watched over this owl library for centuries, meaning that he is a couple hundred years old at the very least. What's even more interesting is the fact that nobody in Elbaf knows how old Biblo truly is because he has always been there. In other words, Jarul, who is 408 years old right now, doesn't know how long Biblo has been there, confirming to us that his age is most certainly over 400 years old.

It is highly likely that Biblo himself has ties to the Void Century itself. But even more importantly, One Piece chapter 1193 revealed to us that he has a grandfather from an era that dates back to before the Void Century. This suggests to us that Biblo's grandfather is a legendary figure that precedes even the time of Joy Boy and the Ancient Kingdom.
This lines up perfectly with One Piece chapter 1138, which was officially released on February 3, 2025, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #10. This chapter revealed the world lore to us through Harley and confirmed that the world of One Piece has been destroyed twice. In total, there are three different One Piece worlds, with the current era being the Third World, while the Void Century is the Second World. Around 3,000 years ago was the period of the First World. As things stand, it appears that Biblo's grandfather stemmed from the period of the First World and knew Nika and the other legends that existed long ago personally.

So far, we haven't seen many characters from the First World era. Eiichiro Oda has slowly revealed characters from the Second World, that is, the Void Century time period, to us, but the First World remains a mystery. All we know is that the original Sun God Nika, who came from Elbaf, existed during this time period. At the same time, the laboratory that exists in Elbaf seems to be made from the remnants of a giant iron robot similar to Emeth, and is said to be at least 3,000 years old, meaning it is from the First World as well.
