Palia has quite a vast collection of unique fish you can find and catch. Many of them are rather difficult to get your hands on, though, as is the case with the elusive Energized Piranha.
You’ll need to track down specific fish like this one to complete Bulletin Board sets, cook up various dishes, craft items, complete quests, and otherwise make progress in Palia. If you’re having trouble tracking down this one, here’s how to find and catch an Energized Piranha in Palia.
Energized Piranhas can be found swimming in rivers all around Kilima Valley. Any area classified as a river within this region has a chance of dropping one when you catch a fish there, though it is a rarer drop, which means luck and random chance play a large role in how easy or difficult it is to find.
Rivers you can visit and fish in to find Energized Piranhas include the one that runs from Mirror Fields down to the Kilima Village area, one slightly north of Whispering Banks, one near Maji’s Hollow, and one north of Phoenix Falls. I’ve marked all of the spots you can hunt for this fish on the map above to make this process easier.
To make catching an Energized Piranha easier, use some classic Worm Bait when hunting for it. This is the best kind of bait to attract this fish, so your odds of catching one are boosted when using it.
There are two ways to obtain an Energized Piranha in Palia.
You have a shot at catching an Energized Piranha at any time of day, so you can freely go fishing for it whenever you like. Some fish, like the Stickleback, are only swimming around at certain times, but luckily, this isn’t the case for this one.
If you’re up for it, there’s plenty more to tackle in Palia while you’re already wandering around hunting for this rare fish. Some good tasks to work on while you explore are getting Citrine, finding Muujimothy, completing Civic Project: Docks, catching a Kilima Grayling, and completing Do Not Go Gentle.
