First things first, the main way to get pets in Steal an Egg is by exploring the world map and collecting eggs from different biomes. Simply follow the map track to your preferred biome, grab an egg, and make your way back to your base. However, it won't be that easy, as monsters from the biome will chase you and try to take the egg back. This is where having a high Speed stat comes in handy, allowing you to outrun them and safely make it back to your base.
The mechanic is pretty similar to Escape the Tsunami for Brainrots, but instead of outrunning a huge wave, you'll have to escape the beasts chasing you while protecting the egg.
Once you're back, place the stolen egg in your hatchery and wait for the timer to finish. After the egg hatches, you can place the pet on your farm and start earning its income per second.
