Once again, I'm compiling all the upcoming delistings, server shutdowns, and general disruptions you should be aware of across PS5 and PS4 for October.
This article was first published in September, but with all those delistings out of the way, let's now focus on what's left in October.
As noted above, the PS4 version of Tower of Fantasy will be taken offline entirely on 20th October. You can still transfer your progress to the PS5 version, as well as PC and mobile.
Meanwhile, Fortnite: Rocket Racing will be removed from Epic’s battle royale as a selectable mode at some point in October. (It still hasn't specified exactly when.)
Finally, Call of Duty Warzone will be discontinued upon the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Season 1. It’s unclear exactly when that gets underway, but the new game launches on 23rd October, so it’ll happen around then.
One other thing fans in the UAE should be aware of specifically is that the PS3 and PS Vita’s PS Store will go offline permanently on 5th October.
While this isn’t expected to affect global gamers until next July, Sony is making some changes to regional storefronts in order to display local currencies.
As a result of this, the UAE will lose access to the PS Store on the PS3 and PS Vita earlier, so be sure to make any final purchases while you still can. You can find more official information on all this through here.
