Into the Valley of Death quest in Control Resonant will take Dylan on an adventure to retrieve Langston's cat from his apartment in the Sinkhole. While that sounds simple, the quest features some unique mechanics that can leave some players guessing. To help players complete Into the Valley of Death with ease, here's a complete walkthrough.
To start Into the Valley of Death in Control Resonant, players must first complete the first act of the game, which includes the main story mission called "Enemy of my Enemy."
Once you return to the Oldest House after the mission, Dylan will talk to Pope in the lobby. She'll ask Dylan to check in with Langston, as he needs his help. This will add the "Into the Valley of Death" mission to the quest log.
Next, just head to the FBC Field Office in Central, and talk to Langston. He'll hand over the keys to his apartment, and Dylan will need to enter the Sinkhole area through the laundromat entrance, the same one he came out of at the end of the "Into the Sinkhole" main story mission.
Next, you'll need to fast travel to the Evacuation Zone, and enter the laundromat entrance to the Sinkhole (I've marked the location above). You'll need to head through an FBC checkpoint and follow the yellow tape to the infinite apartment structure.
Look directly below from the ledge, and you'll be able to see a platform with "Personnel Access" written on it. Jump and safely land on top of the platform to continue heading towards Langston's apartment in the Sinkhole.
Keep following the yellow tape and go through the cracks in the wall till you eventually turn up in a larger room with disabled lifts and more apartments stacked on top of each other. One of the apartments on the top will be lit up; that's where you'll need to head next.
After conversing with one of the FBC agents named "Dombrow," turn right and head through the hole in the wall while following the yellow tape. You'll eventually see a brown door through a hole in the apartment that is suspended in an abyss. Enter through the door, and you'll reach Langston's Apartment.
