You can find the Quests that lead Coen to these places in the Court menu, which is a map that shows Brencis, his three vassals, and what each vassal has under their control. Additionally, you can find the Letter With a Tip from the Into the Den Quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. It's a Quest you can complete during the Prologue or after.
