Over the weekend, Atlus dropped a second deep dive video for Persona 4 Revival — and it actually served up a pretty big surprise.
As it turns out, the upcoming remake will boast a brand new social link — a character who the protagonist can forge a bond with through repeated interactions.
Said character is Aika Nakamura, the young daughter of the family who own and run Aiya — Inaba's go-to Chinese-style restaurant.
Aika is mentioned by her father in Persona 4 Golden but you never get to meet her. She does, however, appear in Persona 4 The Animation as a background character.
In Revival, it looks like you'll encounter Aika both at school and when she's out making food deliveries in the evening.
The presenter does specifically say that she's a "new social link character", and so it's assumed that she'll be properly integrated into the existing social link system. However, the broadcast doesn't go into any additional detail, so we don't yet know what Arcana she'll represent, or whether she'll be a romance option.
