We don’t have to wait long to hear more Grand Theft Auto 6 news, as Game Informer has confirmed its exclusive preview goes live on September 29.
The past few weeks have been an absolute goldmine for big GTA 6 news, which is a relief after years of near-silence from Rockstar and Take-Two. Ever since the Extended Look premiered (and really, since the Cyberleek leaks), we’ve been hearing much more about the world’s most-anticipated game, from big gameplay details to new merch.
One place I think a lot of us were hoping to hear from was Game Informer, which has a history of covering Rockstar’s biggest games in massive amounts of detail. It’s a little later than the other previews, but the outlet has confirmed that’s exactly what’s happening in a few days with a stacked preview full of exclusive details.
Game Informer’s issue will share new details on GTA 6’s weather systems, its wildlife, “roaming Leonida on land, air, and sea”, and the steps that Rockstar took to research Miami and Florida to make it as realistic as possible. As if that wasn’t enough, 12 new screenshots of GTA 6 will also be included in the preview.
The cover story also arguably has the best GTA 6 artwork we’ve seen so far, featuring Jason and Lucia by the docks of Vice City. True wallpaper material.
Although there have certainly been a lot of GTA 6 previews over the past few weeks and tons of details shared about the game itself, Game Informer has always had some of the best coverage of Rockstar’s behemoths, so it’ll be a treat to see what’s in store. And, if nothing else, it means we don’t have long to go until more is revealed about GTA 6.
