Pokemon Winds and Waves just got a new leak that confirms huge details about Gen 10 starter Pokemon from the TeraLeak. Fans expected to see more news about Pokemon Winds and Waves by the end of this summer, maybe at the Pokemon World Championships 2026, but that didn't happen. Instead, it's very likely that Pokemon Winds and Waves will launch in late 2027, as multiple leaks have stated. If that is indeed the case, then fans may have to wait all the way until Pokemon Day 2027 for more news.
Pokemon Winds and Waves' list of officially confirmed Pokemon includes returning critters from past games and the three Gen 10 starters so far, with Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua already getting fan-made evolutions and designs. A new leak shared on Twitter by Centro Leaks reveals the games' lines of dialogue from the intro, which ends with the player's plane landing at the first island's airport. The original TeraLeak stated that players would get their starter Pokemon after catching all three in a traffic jam, with taxis involved somehow. This sounds like a traffic jam outside the airport, with the player character then being taken to the main area of the first island after catching all three starters, where the main landmark is a resort hotel with MMO-like features.
