Multiplayer open-world survival action game Craftopia will leave Early Access and launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2027, developer Pocketpair announced. The Xbox One version will not release in version 1.0 due to performance concerns.
Craftopia first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 4, 2020, followed by Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Microsoft Store on July 4, 2021.

Craftopia began as a project made by a small group of friends who wanted to create their dream game.
At the time, Pocketpair itself was still a very small company. A lot has changed since then. The studio has grown considerably, we have released new games, and our day-to-day development environment looks very different from when Craftopia first entered development.
One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is how much Craftopia means to the team.
We love Craftopia. Although Pocketpair has since grown into a company working on multiple projects, we must never forget where we started: as a small group of friends who simply wanted to make fun games.
Craftopia was born from that spirit, and we’d like to believe that the culture formed during its development helped shape Pocketpair into the company it is today.
