Beast Fang Ridge is the cradle of the mighty Inferlupa and Scorchhowl, and also a hotspot for Main Quests and secondary Journey Quests that will take quite a bunch of time to complete. You might be thinking of completing the Collection Badge challenge since you are there, but many of the 19 different Aniimo species living there are a bit hard to locate. Plus, there's an extra hidden Aniimo spawn (like in Every Area) that is worth mentioning. So, get your Aniipods ready, it's time to get that Collection Badge.
There are 20 species of Aniimo to catch in Beast Fang Ridge, one of which is a special secret spawn and doesn't count for the Collection Challenge, but you will still need it for the Inferlupa quest. Starting from the top left of the list, let's begin our Collection Badge Challenge:
Emberpup is located in most of the central areas of Beast Fang Ridge. He will be roaming the place alongside the Mountain Form Emberpups and Flameruffs.
Mountain Woods Form Emberpup can be found almost everywhere in Beast Fang Ridge. But its major population is located right in the middle, in the Withered Forest.
Flameruff is located leading packs of Emberpups here and there. It will be in more isolated, open-field zones, near the limits with Echoback Landing.
Flameruff Mountain Woods Form is located in the center of the Beast Fang Ridge Woods, leading packs of yapping Emberpups.
To find Scorchhowl you have two options. You either face it in the Alpha Battle, or use the Nurture gimmick to make it spawn in the Beast Fang Ridge Bloom.
Scorchhowl (Thunderstorm Form) appears only during stormy Weather, and it does so in a very specific place: A rock circle in the northern outskirts of Beast Fang Ridge forest. Follow the falling lightning to spot it.
