Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Playground Games have released a 16-minute combat gameplay video of the Fable reboot from Gamescom 2026.

In Fable, you’ll flow seamlessly between melee, ranged, and magical abilities as you come face-to-face with classic creatures and new threats lurking across Albion.

Fable is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on February 23, 2027. It will also be available via Game Pass.
