One of the most important items you need to find in Silent Hill Townfall is the flashlight, which will allow you to navigate dark areas without being terrifeid as to what's lurking in them. Besides, without a flashlight, you might miss collectibles, or hints to future puzzles. Below, we'll share the flashlight location in Silent Hill Townfall and where you can get the batteries to make sure you never have to encounter the dark again.
After escaping the Otherworld and returning to the town square, you can make your way opposite the "2" on the map to find Zoe's House. Head inside (the door is unlocked) and enter the kitchen. There's a drawer you can open by the laundry machine that contains a Flashlight, but there are no batteries; we'll get to those next.
With the Flashlight (No Batteries) item acquired, head upstairs in Zoe's House and enter the room on the left. There's another set of drawers in this room that you can open, which contains the AA Batteries.
With the Batteries and the Flashlight, open your inventory and head to the Key Items tab. You can select the AA Batteries and press X/A to highlight them, where you can then click Combine with the Flashlight (No Batteries). You can now use your flashlight with R3 at any time!
Your flashlight is a permanent key item, and you will not need to find more batteries as you progress through the game. Enemies cannot see your flashlight unless you are playing on Nightmare difficulty.
