To trigger the Dead Drop quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, you must head to the cemetery on the eastern side of Laslea Glen. This cemetery is located in the woods, so it's different from the one in front of the church, where you can trigger Crina's Disturbed quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. After you find the location, you simply must investigate graves and trails until you find a secret loot.
East of the Outlaw's Gorge Shrine is a bandit camp that will lead you to the Bandit's Treasure Map: Laslea Glen quest. However, since fighting the Bandits takes 1 Time Segment (1 Hour), and digging the treasure takes another 1 Hour, it's best to skip this quest in the Prologue. Don't worry though, you can still do it after the Prologue, so you won't miss out.
Instead, we're gonna find the Dead Drop quest, which takes 0 Hours to do. Head west from the Outlaw's Gorge Shrine. On the map, you can see a big tree in the middle of the woods. That's where you want to go.
Once you reach the area, Coen will say that it's the outcast's burial ground. If you use Focus Mode, you can see two graves glowing in yellow/gold. Inspect both graves to learn that one of them belongs to Catina, Vasil's mother. Vasil is the kid you can help or fight in the Someone Needs a Lesson quest. Meanwhile, the second grave is a centuries-old grave, as Coen described it. Both graves have fresh flowers, which is weird, since there's little reason to put flowers on an old grave.
Interacting with the grave will trigger the Dead Drop quest, where Coen must look for clues around the grave using Focus Mode. You can activate Focus Mode using right-click on PC, L2 on PS, and LT on Xbox.
Focus Mode will highlight footsteps on the ground. Follow it, and you'll start seeing carvings on tree bark. Keep following it until there's an engraving on a big broken tree. Inspect the symbol, and Coen will find a stash under the fallen tree.
Loot the stash to find a Mysterious Letter. It will open a Dead Drop Letter, which says:
They know that you're in Sangora. Considering your past, I know you'll be as careful as possible.
