While Silent Hill: Townfall will release on September 24, gamers can already check out a comic prequel story to the game called The Dock House. The new comic was written by the lead writer and game director of Silent Hill: Townfall, Jon McKellan, with David Roach providing the artwork. The new comic tells a story that transpires prior to the events of the game, focusing on a St. Amelia harbormaster named Douglas. The comic's synopsis says that Douglas discovers an "impossible" stairwell that dives deep beneath the harbor, and that he's forced to confront a "terrifying reality" that awaits there. The digital version is out now, with a physical edition to follow on September 30.
