There are many confusing puzzles in Silent Hill: Townfall, but the NSO Symbol puzzle during the SWDP - Different level is arguably the most challenging in the entire game.
This puzzle involves reading instructions from a typewriter, asking you to complete a series of tasks. You then have to press symbols in the correct order in order to complete each task, something that is very difficult due to each symbol being rather vague.
If you are stuck on the NSO Symbol puzzle like I was, look no further. Here's how to solve the NSO Symbol puzzle during the SWDP - Different level in Silent Hill: Townfall.
When first interacting with the command console in SWDP - Different, it will mention that NSO opened Valve B. In order to complete this step of the puzzle, you must use the screen to the left of the console and navigate the camera to the Valve A-F room.
After switching to the Valve A-C room, use the camera's zoom feature to zoom in on Valve B to discover the number 254 written on it. With this number in mind, you can satisfy the console's task by pressing the buttons shown in the image below:
Make sure to press the buttons in the correct order, with the number always coming last. In this case, the answer would be as follows:
After successfully opening Valve B, the command console will ask you to complete another task. This time, you have to Start Filter - A.
First, use the screen to the left of the command console to navigate to the Filter Unit. If you look closely to the right side of the screen of the Filter Unit, you will notice that the desk has the number 103 written on it.
