Part 6: Simon will require you to get into the Control Room, but with no power and no access card to enter the room itself, you might be a tad confused as to where to go, and potentially scared by the monsters that are wandering the area! Below, we'll share where you need to go in order so you won't get lost, and so you can keep track of what you're doing and what you need to do next!
Once you enter the SWDP - Different, take a right down the stairs to access the lower floor. You will then want to go down the hallway and take a left into a small room with a generator.
All you need to do to turn it on is interact with the red handle, but be warned: turning on the generator will spawn the unkillable large monster, so you'll have to safely navigate back upstairs without getting killed!
The Flare Gun will stun the large monster, so keep that in mind if you just want to get past it without dying.
Now that you have restored power, head back up the stairs and go left to find an elevator. You can call the elevator and head to Level 1, which takes you into another set of rooms. This room does not have the big monster, but it does have a few smaller ones!
Navigate to the back right of the room, where you can enter a door. There's a table inside this room that contains the JOE Key. Now, head southwest of the room to unlock the JOE Room, and then squeeze through the gap. Inside this new room, you can find the Access Card, so go ahead and return to the elevator.
There's an AUX Door in this area, but it will unlock later in the mission as part of the main objective.
Now that you have the Access Card, you can head to the stairs to the right of the Clamps and navigate to the locked shutter door, which has a card reader that you can now use. This will start a cutscene that locks you into the Control Room and begins your next objective: Relive the events on CCTV, which we have a guide for here.
