The ending of an anime series is one of its most important elements, as it represents the culmination of everything fans have been waiting for. Considered by many as one of the weakest entries in the beloved Yu-Gi-Oh franchise, Arc-V began as an epic multidimensional travel adventure that attempted to be an homage to its predecessors. The concept of different dimensions based on the world of previous shows was extremely appealing to the fanbase, who were excited about the return of some of their favorite characters.
Woefully, the series failed to deliver an appropriate finale, ruining the experience for many fans. Not only does the final duel against the main villain not include the protagonist at all, as he is being possessed during most of it, but it also ends in a slow and underwhelming fashion.
