An artist in Beauclair is inspired by Geralt and wishes for the Witcher to be his muse. If you want a unique Geralt painting to hang in Corvo Bianco, then you need to assist the Painter during "A Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man" in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. Below, you'll find the outcomes of all three poses so you know how your painting will look, and the walkthrough that will guide you to the finale of the quest!
You will only find this quest after completing (or failing) The Warble of a Smitten Knight.
To begin the quest, head to the market just to the right of the noticeboard in The Gran'Place of Beauclair, and you'll see someone named the Painter, who is shouting out to you as "Snow White" to get your attention. When you speak with him, he'll ask if he could paint you, and you'll have to meet him at the Beauclair Palace between 10 AM and 2 PM (no earlier or later).
You will then take a horse ride with the Painter, and you'll reach a hill with some merry townsfolk. However, the Painter's brushes and paints are missing, and it's up to Geralt to use his Witcher Senses to find them. You can find the paints in the cave just below the hill, and once you kill the Nekkers inside, pick them up and return to the Painter.
When you and the Painter finally make it to the perfect spot to be painted, you'll be asked to strike a pose. Above, you'll find what each pose looks like so you can decide on the perfect one for you. They're shown in this order:
The pose you select will not impact the price of the painting, but it will impact how it looks.
After a time skip to show how Geralt has been posing for hours at this point, a Griffin will swoop down, and you're forced to fight it. Griffins are weak to silver swords, Aard, Hybrid Oils, and Grapeshot, so skewer the winged beast!
Once the Griffin is dead, the Painter will ask if you want it to be added to the painting. This choice doesn't impact the amount of time or the cost of the painting, but it will add a dead Griffin to the bottom of the painting. Regardless of your choice, return to the Painter in the market 24 hours later.
