To get the Watermill Hills treasure in The Blood of Dawnwalker, you need to follow the Will-o-the-wisps to the treasure location. Exploring the forest might lead Coen to some glowing Wisps floating around just north of Briar Sloughs. If you choose to follow them, be careful as the wisps will guide you to the treasure, but not without facing any danger. Complete the Wisp Treasure Hunt: Watermill Hills quest by following the Will-o-the-wisps through the forest to the treasure location in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The closest waypoint is the Sloughside Mill Shrine, and you will have it automatically unlocked if you previously investigated the mill to learn more about the rebels. Upon arriving, turn west and go up the slope until the Will-o-the-wisps appear. They are bright red and hard to miss, especially at night. The Wisp Treasure Hunt: Watermill Hills quest triggers automatically when Coen approaches them.
Immediately start following the wisps by heading southwest towards a cliff. At the end of the path is a Ravenous Bear boss fight. The bear has three big chunks of health, so be careful. Try blocking and parrying most of the attacks to not lose stamina, and remember to dodge the deadly red attacks, since Coen can't block them. The bear gives 36 XP, and you can loot it for its meat, liver, and bones. You can always level up skills to deal better damage.
Once the Ravenous Bear is dealt with, keep following the Will-o-the-wisps as they're waiting nearby. They will lead you up the hill northwest, and then down by going east. Coen will find some dead bodies at the end and the Watermill Hills treasure. Opening the treasure chest takes 1 Hour. Players can always see if the treasure is worth it, then reload the save to get back the wasted time segment.
