In The Blood of Dawnwalker, Corruption is required to unlock Vampirism Perks and Abilities in the skill tree. The more powerful the skill, the higher the level of Corruption required to unlock it.
Fortunately, increasing Corruption is fairly straightforward once you know what to do, though it does take some time. Here’s how it works.
The only way to increase Corruption levels in The Blood of Dawnwalker is by drinking animal, creature, human, or vrakhiri blood, either through the Voracious Bite skill or by consuming Vials of Blood.
The amount of Corruption gained from different types of blood is not the same. Smaller animals like rabbits and mice give the least amount, large animals like deer and wolves give more, humans give even more, and vrakhiri blood gives the most.
The Corruption level is displayed next to Coen's health bar at night.
