If Geralt wants a beard trim and a haircut in Toussaint, he's going to need to rescue Jean-Louis Ludovic, Beauclair's only barber. Unfortunately for Geralt, and those who like a nice tidy-up, Jean-Louis has gone missing! If you want to unlock the unique Queen's Pageboy haircut and discover the different outcomes to the Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing quest in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, then you can use this guide!
You must complete (or fail) The Warble of a Smitten Knight to make Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing available.
Find and speak with Le Papillon, who is south of the Nilfgaardian Embassy, as marked on the map above. When you speak with Le Papillon, he will inform you that Jean-Louis Ludovic, Beauclair's barber, has gone missing. To find him, you're going to have to use Aard on the barbershop's door.
When you're inside, head upstairs, and you'll find Jean-Louis Ludovic's Map to interact with at the south desk. After that, you're going to have to follow Le Papillon, who will lead you to the area on the map, but you will have to put up with his singing.
The first site you arrive at will have an Archespore, so kill it and move on to the next. At the next site, you'll find Jean-Louis's basket and footprints to track with Witcher Senses. These footprints will lead you to a cave, and inside, you'll find Jean-Louis at the mercy of Beau Duvall, a knight who is blaming Jean-Louis's disastrous haircut for causing him to pull out of the tourney due to immense shame.
You have limited time to answer Beau Duvall, and your options and consequences are as follows:
I recommend telling Beau Duvall, "Doesn't seem chivalrous..." as it avoids a deadly fight with multiple people, as you won't earn any XP or loot for killing them all. The rewards and outcome with Jean-Louis are the same regardless, so feel free to make a decision that befits your playthrough.
Now that Jean-Louis has been rescued, you can find his salon just south of the Nilfgaardian Embassy, marked on the map above. Jean-Louis can perform the same hairstyles and beards as the other barbers, but he does have the unique "Queen's Pageboy" haircut, which is the disastrous hairdo shown above.
